Bean Juan Cafe, a place where every cup tells a story.
Our name is a heartfelt blend of our two greatest passions: exceptional coffee and the Filipino spirit.
“Bean” represents our commitment to sourcing the finest, high-quality coffee beans from local farmers across the Philippines. “Juan”, short for “Juan dela Cruz,” symbolizes the everyday Filipino—the heart and soul of our community. Bean Juan Cafe was born from a desire to create more than just a coffee shop.
We envisioned a “tambayan” (a beloved hangout spot) for the modern Filipino—a vibrant hub that champions local products, celebrates our rich heritage, and fosters a strong sense of community. We are a space to connect, create, and simply be.
Bulacan is not just a province; it is a cornerstone of Philippine history, revered as the “Cradle of the First Philippine Republic.” It was here, in the historic halls of the Barasoain Church in Malolos, that the Filipino dream of sovereignty was first brewed and formalized. By establishing Bean Juan Café in Bulacan, we honor the province’s profound historical legacy.
We aim to be a modern reflection of that same revolutionary spirit—a space that champions Filipino identity, promotes local industry, and builds a strong, proud community. Just as our Bulakenyo ancestors gathered to craft a new nation, we gather here to craft the perfect cup of coffee.
